During my recent transit in Viscarret-Guerendiain, I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Batit Villa. As a frequent traveler, I can confidently say that this hotel offered two standout features. its proximity to Pamplona Airport, just 29 km away, made it incredibly convenient for a short layover. the property itself was well-maintained and offered a delightful kitchen facility. This was a welcome convenience, as the town had limited options for dining out. Having a nearby grocery store allowed me to prepare a delicious meal of homemade soup with fresh bread and tomatoes from the kitchen.
While Casa Batit Villa provided a comfortable stay overall, one minor drawback was the limited choice of eateries in the town. However, this minor inconvenience was easily overcome with the kitchen facility provided at the hotel, allowing me to cook a satisfying meal with the grocery store nearby.

I enjoyed indulging in outdoor activities like hiking and mountain climbing in the area, thanks to the convenient location. The small shared garden and free WiFi were a nice touch. The rustic decor and wooden beam ceilings of the 2-bedroom house added to its charm.
Oh, how I just adored the ironing and laundry service. They truly made my stay at Casa Batit a memorable experience.

Spacious and clean house with a big kitchen and very comfortable beds. the hostess was extremely helpful and even did our laundry for free, which was a nice touch. We also appreciated the fact that there was a bar and a supermarket nearby, perfect for pilgrims like us.
The village itself was quite quiet and lacked facilities, but it wasn't a big issue for us. on Sunday night, the options for dining were limited to only one restaurant serving sandwiches, which was not the fault of the hostess.

I absolutely loved the traditional decoration of the hotel. The cozy atmosphere and beautiful local touches made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and accessible for senior people like myself. It was a pleasure to relax in the comfortable common spaces and enjoy the ambiance of the hotel.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there. It would have been nice if they were more attentive to the needs of senior guests and provided additional support or guidance during our stay.

I had the most delightful stay at a beautifully restored traditional home. Carmen, our friendly host, made sure we were comfortable and welcomed us warmly. The room and bathroom were stunning, and the common areas were inviting and relaxing. I especially loved having access to a fully equipped kitchen. While the town didn't offer many dining options, the nearby grocery store allowed us to whip up a delicious homemade soup with bread and tomatoes. It was great value for money, and I highly recommend Casa Batit for an excellent stay on the Camino. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
